Financial Center JSC held an information meeting for state grant students
On December 11, Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz hosted a meeting for students studying under the state educational order with Akzira Serikkali, representative of JSC “Financial Center”. The meeting was held on the topic “Mandatory Work Requirement for Young Specialists.”
During the session, the speaker explained the key amendments introduced to Order No. 403, including:
- Exemption from mandatory work due to admission to a Master’s or PhD program;
- Deferment or exemption from the obligation in connection with military service;
- Maintaining the obligation in cases of academic dismissal, provided that the student is reinstated within the current or following academic year.
The meeting included a number of relevant questions from students, such as:
“Does admission to a Master’s program under a state grant fully exempt from the obligation?”
“Under what conditions can the deferment be granted?”
“How is the obligation fulfilled when transferring to another institution?”
“What are the consequences for failing to fulfill the work requirement?”
The event provided students with clear explanations of their rights and responsibilities. It was especially significant for future graduates, as understanding the terms of the state educational order is an essential step before entering the labor market.
The University expresses its gratitude to JSC Financial Center for the open format of communication and willingness to explain the mechanisms of implementation of the state educational policy.
