Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz ranks 2nd in the National Ranking of Humanities and Economics Universities of Kazakhstan – 2025!
The Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education – Ranking (IQAA-Ranking) has published the results of the 2025 National Ranking of Leading Universities of Kazakhstan. Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz secured 2nd place among the humanities and economics universities in the country.
Total score – 58.24 points, including:
41.96 – academic performance and graduate employment results;
3.73 – expert evaluation;
4.48 – employer reputation;
4.11 – student satisfaction;
3.96 – graduate feedback.
IQAA has been conducting this national ranking for 17 consecutive years. In 2025, 30 universities of Kazakhstan took part in six categories: multidisciplinary, technical, humanities and economics, pedagogical, medical, as well as universities of arts and sports.
The ranking methodology is based on a comprehensive assessment, including:
- academic indicators of universities;
- data from independent sources (Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, EHEA database, Bolashak Center, National Institute of Intellectual Property, Scopus, Web of Science, and RSCI databases);
- surveys of employers, academic experts, students, and graduates.
The survey involved:
- 865 employers;
- 340 academic experts;
- 12,871 students;
- 2,802
Karaganda University of Kazpotrebsoyuz traditionally holds high positions in the National Ranking, which confirms the quality of its educational programs, the high level of student preparation, and the steady demand for its graduates in the labor market.
